It’s such a festive time of year, but October is more than just trick-or-treating. Check out our recs for the best things to do next month with the fam!

  • MOVIE NIGHT: E.T. (10/2) Bring the family to Tailgate Brewery Headquarters with some blankets or chairs to watch E.T. in the heated barn! Dogs are welcome and admission is free.

  • NASHVILLE FALL FESTIVAL (10/3 - 11/2) Explore a massive corn maze, scenic hayrides, live music, pumpkin bowling, a petting zoo, flashlight nights, and more along the South Harpeth River every weekend through November 2nd!

  • FRIDAYS BY THE RIVER (10/3 - 10/17) Enjoy the gorgeous weather and kick off your weekend with happy hour every Friday through October 17th at Shelby Park! This pop-up beer garden supporting Friends of Shelby will have food trucks, live music, and a play space for the kids.

🎃 Great Pumpkin Festival

October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at The Discovery Center

Build haunted houses, paint pumpkins, and strut in your best costumes for the contest and parade at the Great Pumpkin Festival. They’ll have a bubbles station, face painting, and animal encounters, plus Bluey will be there too!
