October is coming in hot, both temps-wise and events. Mark your calendars for these upcoming festivals, shows, and celebrations next month.

• NASHVILLE FALL FESTIVAL (10.02 - 11.01) Spend weekends at the South Harpeth River, climbing Hay Bail Mountain, pumpkin bowling, wandering through the corn maze, visiting the animals, listening to live music, and taking a hot air balloon ride. Pick your own pumpkin included with admission!

• CAVEFEST (10.09 - 10.11) Enjoy main performances under the open sky all weekend at The Caverns Amphitheater, with even more music and activities waiting underground in The Caverns’ world-famous cave venue, plus a kids village, workshops, and activities in the campground. Kids under 12 are free!

• FAIRLY ODD FINDS FESTIVAL (10.10) Welcome to the first annual free Ghouls and Goblins version of Fairly Odd Finds Festival at Hop Springs, featuring curious crafts, kids’ activities, muralists, ast installations, and live music!

• S’MORES FESTIVAL (10.10) Get ready for the ultimate cozy evening out at Copperline Ranch with bonfires and s’mores, hayrides, fall treats, a petting zoo, a kid zone, and local shopping!

• BOO AT THE ZOO (10.16 - 11.01) Nashville's family-favorite Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo, returns for 17 nights this October with fall-themed scenes and photo ops, activities around the Zoo, trick-or-treating for the kids, special animal shows, and more!

• SAZÓN LATIN FOOD FESTIVAL (10.18) This family-friendly outdoor festival will be serving dishes and desserts inspired by the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Guests can enjoy a full day of authentic Latin cuisine, live music, drinks, and community in a vibrant atmosphere dedicated to celebrating sabor and Latin culture at Bearded Iris Brewing!

• SONIC LIVE IN CONCERT (10.19) Featuring iconic moments and music from the very first game in 1991 through today, join a live ensemble alongside rock musicians, vocalists, and electronic elements paired with HD footage of memorable moments and battles at Ryman Auditorium!

• THE LION KING JR. (10.22 - 10.24) This heartwarming production is filled with colorful characters, exciting choreography, and inspiring performances by the talented young cast of CYT Nashville at ​FSD Performing Arts Center!

• A-MAZE-ING GLOW NIGHTS (10.23 - 10.24) Looking for a not-so-spooky nighttime family adventure? Navigate glowing pathways through the corn maze at Lucky Ladd Farms, enjoy the DJ and dance floor, sweet and savory fall fares, and photo ops everywhere. Glow gear included with your tickets!

• PUMPKIN PATCH PARTIES (10.23 - 10.24) Head to Mill Ridge Park to paint pumpkins, build scarecrows, play lawn games, and eat seasonal treats. Bring a blanket or chair, free to attend!

• GOODFEST IN THE PARK (10.24) Experience a day of family-friendly fun, shopping, entertainment, and seasonal festivities at Moss-Wright Park featuring inflatables and trick or treating for the kids!

• BOO BASH (10.25) Get ready for a howling good time at The Little Gym of Mt. Juliet — where community, costumes, and creepy-cute fun come to life with Halloween-themed thrills for the kids!
